in awe.

for the first time in my life, i witnessed a car crash
right before my eyes, on davenport and avenue Road
with the traffic beginning to build, air-conditioned and calm
the cab driver man, tense and aggressive

he wants to beat the traffic, and he didn't care to watch
he waves the sunfire off, "let me pass" (to the other side of the road)
zoom zoom zoom, or so he thought. he was almost gone
u-turn to on-coming traffic, not very impressive

the sounds are too real to type, was stilled when all seemed lost
expressions very telling, in the sun's heat, both men felt cold
stupid cab driver, learn to drive, seriously son
air-conditioned and calm, on davenport and avenue road.

very poetic my friend. i remember when i witnessed a car crash last summer.. it was pretty crazy.. some old people decided to run a red, and t boned another old couple. the clincher? the old people who decided to run the red had 2 grandkids in the back, and the grandma in the front seat decided not to wear her seatbelt. emergency first aid at its best by yours truly. a bloody and horrific scene that in the end turned out okay. Praise God that everyone is okay.. hopefully on your side as well.
